Senior Software Engineer

Role Overview We are looking for a hands-on Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance applications. The ideal candidate will have strong full-stack development expertise and experience managing production systems at scale. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Node.js and React. • Build robust backend services, REST APIs, and microservices. • Design and optimize PostgreSQL databases, including schema design, indexing, and query optimization. • Develop cloud-native applications using AWS, Azure, or GCP. • Implement CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes. • Identify and resolve production issues and performance bottlenecks. • Ensure application security, reliability, scalability, and code quality. • Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Required Skills • 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience. • Strong expertise in Node.js, React, and MERN stack development. • Experience with PostgreSQL, database design, and performance tuning. • Strong understanding of system design, distributed systems, and microservices. • Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP. • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. • Proven experience working on production applications serving large user bases. • Experience in healthcare, fintech, payments, or other security-critical domains. Preferred Skills • HIPAA, PHI, or PCI-DSS compliance experience. • Payment integrations such as Stripe or Braintree. • Event-driven architecture and high-availability systems. • AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot.
