Grievance Redressal

Last updated: 2026-06-12 · Version v1.0

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and the DPDP Rules, 2025, you have the right to raise a grievance about how Kaamio handles your personal data — and we are required to publish how to do that and how fast we will respond. This page is that mechanism.

Who to contact

Our designated Grievance Officer — Grievance Officer, Veltore Technologies Private Limited — handles all data-protection grievances. Reach them via Contact support with the subject line "Privacy grievance" so it is routed and tracked correctly.

Please include: the email address on your Kaamio account, what happened (or what you want changed), and any relevant dates or screenshots. We will never ask for your password.

What the Grievance Officer handles

  • Access & export — getting a copy of the personal data we hold about you (you can also self-serve at /settings/data).
  • Correction & updating — fixing inaccurate or incomplete data, including data you cannot edit yourself (e.g. assessment results or derived data).
  • Erasure — deleting your account and personal data (self-serve at /settings/data, or by request).
  • Consent withdrawal — withdrawing any consent you previously gave, as easily as you gave it.
  • Complaints — any other concern about how your personal data is collected, used, shared, or secured, including concerns about AI processing of your data.

Our response-time commitment

The DPDP framework allows up to 90 days to resolve a grievance. We commit to doing much better:

  • Acknowledgment within 7 working days of receiving your grievance, with a tracking reference.
  • Resolution within 30 days in the ordinary course. If a case genuinely needs longer (e.g. it spans a third-party processor), we will tell you why and give a new date — never beyond the statutory 90-day ceiling.

Escalation: Data Protection Board of India

If you are not satisfied with our response, or we fail to respond within the committed time, you have the right to escalate your complaint to the Data Protection Board of India, the adjudicating body established under the DPDP Act, 2023. The Board accepts complaints from Data Principals after the grievance has first been raised with the Data Fiduciary (that's us) — so please contact our Grievance Officer first.
