Head - Cotton Sourcing
Location: Ahmedabad
Role Purpose
Lead end-to-end cotton sourcing and supply chain management across all Arvind businesses, ensuring cost optimization, supply continuity, risk management, and strategic procurement decisions.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute cotton sourcing strategy across businesses.
• Manage end-to-end procurement, contracting, logistics, inventory, and supplier relationships.
• Monitor domestic and international commodity markets and anticipate price trends.
• Lead hedging and price risk management through global and domestic exchanges.
• Drive market intelligence, forecasting, and data-driven procurement decisions.
• Collaborate with business, operations, and finance teams to align sourcing with business needs.
• Lead digital and analytics initiatives within sourcing and supply chain.

• Desired Profile
• 15+ years of experience in cotton sourcing, commodity procurement, or supply chain management.
• Strong preference for candidates from the cotton industry; professionals from agro-commodities or other commodity sectors with proven sourcing expertise may also be considered.
• Strong exposure to international hedging and commodity risk management.
• Excellent understanding of market dynamics, pricing trends, and supply-demand economics.
• Analytical, digital-first mindset with strong commercial acumen.
• High-potential leader, preferably in the 30-40 age bracket, though exceptional candidates with relevant experience will be considered regardless of age.
