About this role
Razorpay is one of India’s leading full-stack financial technology companies, powering the way businesses move, manage, and grow money. Founded in 2014 by Harshil Mathur and Shashank Kumar with a simple vision - to simplify payments for Indian businesses - we’ve since grown into a fintech powerhouse driving India’s digital payment revolution.
Razorpay powers millions of businesses with a smarter, scalable stack that goes beyond transactions to help them truly build and grow.
From building AI-native agentic payments, to AI-assisted fraud detection and real-time risk intelligence to automated reconciliation, smart payouts, and predictive financial insights, we are embedding intelligence across our stack to make money movement faster, safer, and more efficient. In close collaboration with ecosystem partners - including banks, networks, regulators - we are pioneering industry-first solutions that are shaping the next era of fintech
Across India, Singapore and Malaysia, our products span everything from seamless checkouts to payroll automation - powering a fintech ecosystem that’s redefining how money moves across Asia.
Today, that ecosystem supports everyone from early-stage startups to some of India’s largest enterprises, enabling them to accept, process, and disburse payments at scale while expanding into new ways of managing money more efficiently.
Our scale speaks volumes: Razorpay processes $180+ billion in annualized transactions, powering leading businesses like Airbnb, Facebook, WhatsApp, Airtel, CRED, BookmyShow, Zomato, Swiggy, Lenskart, Mirae Asset Capital markets, Indian Oil, National Pension Scheme - and over 100 of India’s unicorns. With strong roots in India and growing operations in Southeast Asia, we are shaping the next chapter of financial technology across the region.
We are backed by global investors including GIC, Peak XV Partners (formerly Sequoia Capital India & SEA), Tiger Global, Ribbit Capital, Matrix Partners, MasterCard, and Salesforce Ventures, having raised over $740 million to date. Strategic acquisitions - including Ezetap (POS and offline payments), Curlec (Malaysia expansion), BillMe (digital invoicing), and POP (rewards-first UPI) - along with earlier moves in fraud prevention, payroll, and lending, have further strengthened our platform and widened our footprint across Asia.
But what truly sets Razorpay apart is our culture. At Razorpay, ownership is our oxygen - you own what you build, with no micromanagement or red tape, just the runway to make your ideas fly. Learning is a lifestyle - if you’re curious, you’ll feel at home here. People > Pedigree - we hire for attitude, hustle, and hunger more than degrees. You will craft positioning that resonates with merchants, drive high-impact launches, arm the sales team with competitive assets, and more. This is a high-visibility, cross-functional role where marketing, product, sales, and compliance intersect.
Why Join Us?
This role sits at the heart of how our international payments products go to market.
You’ll work from problem definition to adoption: shaping ICP, value propositions, launch plans, and scaled programs to drive GMV and activation.
Our product team ships fast across new corridors, payment methods, and use cases, so you’ll constantly work on zero‑to‑one bets as well as scaling proven products.
If you enjoy ownership, commercial impact, and solving real merchant problems in a competitive space, this role gives you visibility with leadership and direct influence on revenue.
What You’ll Do:
• Own GTM for key launches end‑to‑end – customer and market insight, positioning, launch strategy, and post‑launch adoption
• Work with the business and product team to scale up brand-building initiatives for the 1-10 journey for Razorpay International Payments Brand.
• Turn complex international payments capabilities (FX rates, settlement, methods, compliance, risk) into clear, differentiated narratives grounded in merchant insights
• Define ICPs and key segments (D2C exporters, SaaS founders, global marketplace sellers, design services, etc.) and build segment‑specific messaging, use cases, and proof points
• Drive multi‑channel GTM programs (email, webinars, roundtables, social, PR etc.) to deepen engagement and adoption
• Build social proof at scale – identify the right merchants, craft case studies and customer stories, and plug them into sales material and social campaigns
• Partner with Product and Growth to identify opportunities across merchant cohorts, payment methods, and use cases
• Enable sales with sharp narratives and assets – pitch decks, one‑pagers, battlecards, objection‑handling, and regular training
What You Bring:
• 4-6 years of experience in product marketing, brand building or similar, with meaningful experience owning launches and GTMs for technical or fintech products
• You’ve owned multiple products or major feature launches end‑to‑end and can speak to their impact
• You are a strong storyteller – you can take complex products and make them resonate with founders, product, and finance leaders
• You thrive in fast‑paced environments and can juggle multiple priorities
• You work well cross‑functionally – you can bring product, sales, growth, design, and PR together around a clear GTM plan
• Experience in fintech/payments is a plus; exposure to cross‑border or international payments is an added advantage, but not mandatory
