Manager - AI GTM and Market Intelligence

About GoKwik GoKwik is a growth operating system for D2C and eCommerce brands, enabling checkout optimization, RTO reduction, payments, retention, and post-purchase engagement. Today, GoKwik powers 15,000+ merchants globally, processes ~$2 billion in GMV, and continues to strengthen its AI-powered infrastructure across India, the UK, Europe, and the US. Why This Role Matters Most GTM teams wait for demand to declare itself. This role builds the systems that find it first. As Manager — AI GTM and Market Intelligence, you will own the engine that identifies high-fit D2C merchants before they raise a hand, the internal tools Marketing and Sales rely on daily to see what our spend is actually producing, and the proprietary data stories that establish GoKwik’s authority in the market. This is a builder’s role rather than an analyst’s: the output is working software and published research other teams depend on, not reports. You will use AI as your primary build leverage, partner closely with Demand Generation, Sales, Brand and PR, and own each system end to end — from the idea to the thing running in production. What You’ll Own • AI Outbound & Signal Pipeline - Own GoKwik’s outbound motion end to end: build the ICP from proprietary merchant data and third-party market sources, detect intent signals such as checkout migrations, funding rounds and founder activity, and convert them into AI-personalised outreach that reaches high-fit D2C brands before they enter the market. • Marketing Intelligence Platform - Own the internal tools Marketing, Sales and CS run on: the funnel from lead to go-live, ad spend joined to closed deals for true cost-per-outcome, competitive share of voice, and self-serve AI reporting that removes the dependency on manual data pulls. Each tool ships with a user guide and must be actively used by the team it was built for. • Data-Led Thought Leadership - Turn GoKwik’s proprietary transaction data into publishable industry research no competitor can replicate. Own the data and the narrative from first principles to final draft, in partnership with Brand and PR. • Attribution & Funnel Integrity - Own how marketing performance is measured: canonical definitions for lead, MQL, SQL and go-live, campaign taxonomy and UTM governance, and distinct attribution for outbound and signal-sourced pipeline in Salesforce. Hold these definitions steady across Marketing, Sales and Finance when numbers are contested. • Automation & Reliability - Run these systems as production software, not side projects. Own the scheduled jobs, monitoring and alerting that keep them trustworthy, and design alerts that stay quiet until something genuinely needs attention. • Enablement & Documentation - Build for handover from day one. Every tool, dashboard and automated workflow carries written documentation, a named owner and a walkthrough session, so no system depends on one person’s context to keep running. Who You Are • 4–6 years of experience across growth, demand generation, marketing analytics, revenue operations or product, with a track record of building tools rather than only reporting on them. • Demonstrable experience building working internal tools, automations or data products using AI as the primary build leverage. You should be able to walk us through something you shipped that other people depended on, and what broke along the way. • Strong SQL and comfort interrogating a number to its source before it is acted on. Hands-on experience with Salesforce or a comparable CRM, and with a data warehouse. • Commercial fluency in D2C, eCommerce, payments or B2B SaaS go-to-market. You understand what a lead, an MQL and a go-live mean, and why the definitions get argued about. • Proven experience running outbound or lifecycle campaigns, including prospect research, segmentation, sequencing and reply handling. • Excellent written communication. A large part of this role is explaining a number to a senior stakeholder who will act on it, and writing research that stands up to external scrutiny. • Comfortable owning systems in production: when a scheduled job fails, you investigate rather than escalate. • Hands-on experience with ad platforms and campaign measurement across Google, Meta or emerging AI ad surfaces is a strong plus. • A computer science degree or a background as a software engineer is not required. What matters is the judgment to know what is worth building and the ability to direct AI tooling to build it correctly. Why GoKwik At GoKwik, you work at the intersection of go-to-market, product and data. This role sits on a foundation that already exists: a live platform of internal GTM products, an outbound engine with a scored universe of more than 16,000 D2C brands, and first-party transaction data across 15,000+ merchants that no competitor can replicate. You are not starting from a blank page, and you are not inheriting a backlog of requests — you are taking custody of systems people already use and deciding where they go next. You get unusual autonomy and unusually direct exposure: the freedom to choose what gets built, a short line to senior stakeholders, and work that is visible externally through published research as well as internally through the tools leadership reviews. For someone who wants to build rather than brief, in a performance-driven team with real ownership from week one, there are few roles in Indian eCommerce with this much surface area.
